Emperor Ice Baths Ltd extends a 2-year Limited Warranty, which applies to residential use AND commercial use.

The Limited Warranty includes replacing parts shown to have defects in workmanship and covers defects or malfunctions that arise during normal use conditions. The Limited Warranty does not cover damage as a result of: 

-Adding chemicals (unless confirmed in writing) to the water
-Neglected filter care 
-Power outages
-Lack of attention to low water flow
-Restricted airflow
-Or any other form of neglect, misuse or abuse

Specific other exclusions apply, as further described in this Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty applies only to defects discovered within the applicable Limited Warranty period and only so long as the product remains in possession of the original purchaser (or original owner if purchased as a gift). 

All parts covered under this warranty are warrantied for a period of 2-years from the date of delivery. 

Inner Mould

Every unit is built around a hard plastic Inner Mould. It is tough and will last a lifetime, if it’s cared for. 

Natural wood is unique, not defective 

The exterior of our Ice Baths are made from natural wood. Wood will have some variation in colour/grains, or imperfections, which are considered natural. These variations are not considered defects. For outdoor units, some deterioration may happen due to the weather in spite of the best of treatments. Wood surfaces are subject to denting, scratching, etc. if not properly used and cared for. Any repairs are at the cost of the customer, not Emperor Ice Baths. Since each unit is individually handmade, they will have very minor variations in size, shape, and finish. Our team goes to great lengths to ensure high-quality products; we celebrate wood as a natural material. 

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions 

-The condensing unit, chiller, water pump, LCD screen and OZONE filtration all carry a 2-year warranty.
-Replacement filters are available for purchase, but replacement is entirely the customer’s responsibility. Emperor Ice Baths is not responsible if a customer loses or damages parts cleaning or replacing their filter.
-This warranty is automatically void if Emperor Ice Baths determine that the product has been altered, abused, neglected or in any other way mistreated or used for any other purpose.
-The customer is responsible for regular maintenance of the product. Any problems or failures arising from failure to provide proper maintenance, including using chemicals will void this warranty. Using improper or harsh cleaning agents will also void this warranty. This warranty will be void if the customer uses any replacement parts or accessories not genuine or original to the unit or provided by Emperor Ice Baths.
-All repairs must be performed by a professional who is approved by Emperor Ice Baths. Repairs performed by someone not approved in advance by Emperor Ice Baths will not be covered under this warranty. The customer accepts full liability for any repairs provided by someone not approved by Emperor Ice Baths and accepts it renders the Limited Warranty invalid.
-The liability, if any, of the manufacturer, Emperor Ice Bath, shall not exceed the original purchase value of the product covered under this warranty. Emperor Ice Bath is not responsible for any incidental damages that may occur after delivery. Emperor Ice Bath is not liable for any injury or loss that arises from any defect covered under this limited warranty, either incidental or consequential, including but not limited to, loss of use of the product even if Emperor Ice Bath was made aware of potential damage prior to occurrence of said damage.

For service under this Limited Warranty, please contact us at hello@emperoricebath.com. Please provide us with the following information: name of purchaser, proof of purchase, dated receipt, item purchased, and as much detail as possible concerning the problem or failure. Claims must be made within the specified warranty period, as above. Most warranty issues will be easily handled over phone or email after we receive your initial email. If a repair covered under this warranty is necessary, within the applicable warranty period, the cost of part(s) are covered by Emperor Ice Baths, including any shipping related costs to mainland UK. and engineer costs to repair the problem, this may be an employee of Emperor or a local engineer. Outside of the mainland UK, Emperor Ice Bath will ship parts for a local engineer to fit under our remote supervision. In either case, most repairs can be performed within 2 hours. 

Warranty policy

Emperor Ice Bath UK Warranty

All Emperor Ice Bath and coolers come with a 24 month limited warranty. The 24 months warranty commences from the date of delivery to you.

Warranty for wooden bespoke Baths:

The warranty covers any naturally occurring faults that may develop during intended use of the bath such as internal swelling of the wood that may then lead to leaking.

The warranty also covers the metal retaining rings around the bath, and any movement that might occur during normal and acceptable use of the bath

The warranty excludes leaking caused by the bath being left empty for extended periods of time. It also excludes any discoloration that may occur naturally in wood products.

Your Iced Tub bath should require minimal maintenance, cleaning should be done using a soft cloth, soft bristle brush and baking soda (1 cup of baking soda diluted with 4 litres of warm water – not boiling). The warranty excludes discolouration or stains that occur because the bath has not been cleaned regularly, or from the use of improper cleaning materials, or due to natural weathering from frost, freeze, hail, flood, fire etc.

If a repair to your bath is covered under your warranty, we will ask for still images or videos showing the fault.  It may still be necessary to come to your property and assess whether a repair on site is viable, or if it will need to be taken away to be repaired. We can not guarantee a specific time of repair but we would aim to complete any repairs as quickly as possible.

If the bath cannot be repaired either on site or at our warehouse, we will replace the bath for you. The warranty will not be extended from the delivery of a new bath or during repair. Your warranty will remain valid for 12 months from the delivery of the original bath.

Warranty for the Cooler 

The warranty on your Emperor cooler runs for 24 months from the date of delivery.  The warranty only covers cooler parts, it does not include any labour costs.

The full-one year warranty covers manufacturing defects, and hardware and software failure.

The warranty includes repairs to the compressor and other internal components that may fail during the 12 month warranty period.  The warranty does not cover routine maintenance and upkeep such as replacing filters and re-gas the refrigerant . The purchase of a new filter and changing of a filter is the responsibility of the customer. New filters can be purchased directly from other 3rd party suppliers. Always ensure that any replacement filter is suitable and is the correct fit.  If you are unsure how to change the filter in your cooler, a member of staff will be happy to assist you, please use our contact us form.

Emperor coolers are IPX4 rated. This means that they are suitable for outdoor use.  However, during periods of heavy rain, they must be covered and switched off. The fan itself is NOT waterproof and has only a splash resistant IPX4 rating. When the cooler is not in use, or during any prolonged bouts of bad weather, the cooler must be covered as a precaution.

NB  Our limited warranty does not include the following;

  • The cooler failing due to the use of inappropriate cleaning materials and chemicals which can lead to damage and deterioration of pipes and internal components
  • Blockages or clogging in the internal components due to filters not being changed regularly
  • The cooler being damaged after being left uncovered in inclement weather
  • Damage to the cooler caused by being left out in freezing temperatures, leading to the freezing of internal components, burst pipes, or overheating of components due to ice blockages
  • Damage occurring from a natural disaster such as fire, hail, snow, flood or frost.
  • Damage caused by misuse by the User or a 3rd party. This includes items being used for anything other than their intended purpose
  • Cracked/damaged copper pipes or pvc pipes
  • Re-gassing the unit
  • Internal parts being damaged due to not cleaning / replacing filters (if damaged) with the correct filters

As long as any manufacturing defects and hardware and software failure are not caused by the user, your Emperor cooler is covered by your warranty.

If a repair is eligible under your warranty, we will attend your property to carry out an initial assessment.  We can not guarantee a specific timescale for a repair but we would endeavour to complete repairs as quickly as possible.

If the cooler cannot be repaired, either onsite or at our warehouse, we will replace the cooler for you. The warranty will not be extended from the delivery of a new cooler. Your warranty will continue and will remain valid for 12 months from the delivery of the original cooler.

A member of our team will then contact you, and run you through our troubleshooting process to see if the issue can be resolved without a call out. If the troubleshoot cannot fix the issue, we will arrange for a technician to come, and either repair the unit on site, or to collect for repair.

If an item needs to be collected for repair, it will not be possible to give a firm completion date until the item has been assessed.  However, we do endeavour to complete all repairs as quickly as possible.

We’re still here outside of the Limited Warranty period 

Emperor Ice Bath will continue to offer email and phone support for issues occurring after expiration of the warranty period as it sees fit. However, the customer will be 100% responsible for any associated costs such as parts, labor, shipping, etc after expiration of the applicable warranty period.
